Narrative Editor

Use the Narrative Editor to edit sections of text. You can enter text in another program, such as MS Word, then copy and paste into Narrative Editor. Text will word wrap making it easier to enter descriptions on:

Invoices
Jobs
Sales Orders
Purchase Orders
Assets


Code			Click to choose a Global Narrative. Click the Insert / Replace `(Ctrl+I)` button to toggle between Insert and Replace. When the button shows Insert, selecting a Global Narrative will insert the Global Narrative text in the Narrative Editor. When the button shows Replace, selecting a Global Narrative will replace the text in the Narrative Editor with the Global Narrative text. When the Global Narrative has a richer Content Type, the Content Type changes to match. The order, from plainest to richest, is Text, Markdown, HTML. The Content Type is never changed to a plainer type. When Company Settings does not allow the Content Type to be changed, the narrative keeps its Content Type and the Global Narrative content is inserted as plain text.
Description			A brief description of the narrative, to assist in selecting the correct code.
Content Type			Sets how the narrative is stored and edited: Text, Markdown or HTML. See Text Editor, Markdown Editor and HTML Editor. The default Content Type for narratives is set in Company Settings, and is Text. The Content Type can be changed here only when Company Settings allows it.
Toolbar
		Expand Toolbar `(Ctrl+F9)`		Expand the toolbar to give access to all toolbar options. Press `Esc` to close the expanded toolbar.
		Spell Check `(F7)`		Activates Accredo spell check. Spelling is also checked as you type, right-click words for suggested corrections. Spell check options and dictionaries are set in Company Settings - Spellcheck tab.
		Save Global Narrative `(Ctrl+S)`		Save as a Global Narrative.
Buttons
	Accept `(F9)`			Saves the global narrative and closes the Global Narrative Editor.
	Cancel `(Esc)`			Closes the Global Narrative Editor without saving changes to the Global Narrative.
